At one time, a Douglas A-4C “Skyhawk” (BuNo 148463, c/n 12656), was on display at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. The aircraft was located approximately 100 yards south of the main entrance, and was located at the corner of a red brick building off of Sheridan Road. The last sighting seems to be in June 2007. Since then, the whereabouts of the aircraft is in question. Anyone know where this "Scooter" is?
