York Township is a small town with a nice little park. The West Union Park has an U.S. Army MGM-5 “Corporal” Missile on display. The park has a well-maintained ball diamond that accommodates both baseball and softball. The ball diamond area has restrooms, and each side has a small play area. On the south side of the park there are two shelters with picnic tables, sand volleyball court, lighted tennis courts, a stage and restroom facilities. Water and electricity are available at the shelters. The park is located 12 miles south of Marshall on IL Route One. At West Union, turn east at the flashing light to the first block, turn right and follow road for about 3/4 mile. The park is on the east side.
