Located at the intersection of US 150 and Logan Street, Danville has a Ling-Temco-Vought GA-7D-2-CV Corsair II (AF 68-8223, c/n D-009) on display in as part of their Korean War Memorial. The display was sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Jewell Whyte Post No. 728. The memorial park and aircraft are displayed in honor of the Chanute Air Force Base in all its personnel, 1917-1993.
